Obama Day

Today was a monumental day for American History. Just thinking about how History Books printed now have to add Barack Obama's name to the list of US Presidents kinda makes me giddy like a 4th grader!

I remember saying at one point, it would NEVER be in my lifetime that we have a president that's NOT white. Damn, I was totally wrong. I mean throughout the campaign, I had my doubts that he would actually win. I personally felt that America (or as Field say A-merry-ca) wasn't ready for a non-white president.

So today before heading into the tax office, I watched MSNBC with a sense of pride as Barack and Michelle strutted down the street, holding hands and waving to everyone that voted for him.
